Overview:

The Intern position at Green Bangla Foundation (GBF) offers an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in the fields of environmental conservation, sustainable development, and community engagement. This role provides valuable exposure to real-world projects that align with GBF’s mission of promoting environmental sustainability, renewable energy, and poverty alleviation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research Support: Assist in conducting research on environmental, social, and economic factors that influence GBF’s projects, helping to develop new strategies and tools.
  • Project Assistance: Provide support to various projects related to agriculture, renewable energy, and sustainability by organizing data, writing reports, and preparing presentations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence to support GBF’s day-to-day operations.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in events and outreach activities to engage with local communities, promote GBF’s initiatives, and raise awareness of environmental and social issues.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating digital content such as blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters to share GBF’s work with the public.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with different teams within GBF to support their goals, attend meetings, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the foundation’s programs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong research and analytical skills.
    • Good written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Eagerness to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
    • Passion for environmental sustainability and social development.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
